COVID-19 Protocol 2.15.21

Before Arrival

  • All groups need to email a copy of their roster to info@claryandersonarena.com at least 48 hours before scheduled event.

  • Screening questions will be done through Test Alerts. The QR code will be posted outside of the entrance of the facility. It is also available on the front of our website by clicking ‘Screening Questions.’ You must walk in with this completed.

Arrival

  • All instructors, students, players, coaches, spectators, and staff must wear a face mask/covering properly at all times within the facility.

  • All groups will be entering the facility through the front entrance on the park. Once you enter the facility there will be a Clary Anderson Arena staff member checking temperatures and confirming screening questions are completed. Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, came in close contact with someone COVID positive or elevated temperature over 100.4 degrees will not be permitted in the building.

  • Players and students should arrive no more than 15 minutes before scheduled event and must leave within 15 minutes of the end of the event. Goalies and coaches are permitted to arrive 30 minutes prior to scheduled event.

  • All players must come fully dressed in their equipment or dress in the parking lot. NO FULL-SIZE HOCKEY BAGS, except goalies. Only skates, helmet, gloves, and goalie pads will be allowed to be PUT ON AND TAKEN OFF in the facility.

  • Players and skaters who are 10 and under (MITE AND SQUIRT TEAMS) who are unable to tie their own skates are permitted to have 1 adult enter the facility to tie their skates. We encourage skates be put on before entering the facility with the use of hard guards to protect the blades if your child is unable to tie their own skates.

  • Each time slot will be assigned a designated area to tie skates (A, B, C & D). A diagram is provided on second page to show where each time slot will be sitting. We will also have the diagram posted in the arena.

  • When tying skates please sit on a bench or chair marked with a “sit here” sign.

  • The following individuals will be permitted into the facility for the visiting team: players, 3 coaches, 1

    manager/penalty box monitor.

  • The following individuals will be permitted into the facility for the home team: players, 3 coaches, 1

    scorekeeper and 1 timekeeper.

Spectators

  • 1 (one) parent or guardian is allowed into the facility to watch GAMES ONLY. Parents and guardians will only be allowed into the building at the time the event starts once both teams are on the ice. Younger siblings will not be permitted into the arena.

  • ALL SPECTATORS MUST ARRIVE WITHIN THE FIRST 15 MINUTES OF THE START OF THE GAME! NO RE ENTRY IS ALLOWED AND NO SWITCHING WITH FAMILY MEMBERS. IT IS ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN PER CHILD PER GAME

  • Parents and guardians attending the game must fill out the same screening questions that all players fill out. It is located on the front page of our website. This must be done THE DAY OF THE EVENT. IT CAN NOT BE DONE THE NIGHT BEFORE. You will need to be checked in at our check-in table located in the lobby to confirm your screening questions are completed and temperatures are taken.

  • All parents and guardians must be seated in the bleachers with masks on at all times and maintain social distance. Once the game is finished you must leave through the exits located inside of the arena. DO NOT EXIT THROUGH THE LOBBY

  • Anyone not adhering to rules will be told to leave.

  • HIGH SCHOOLS GAMES: It is each individual district’s decision to allow spectators to high school games. Please check with the arena or district to confirm if your game can have spectators. If spectators are allowed, they must adhere to all protocols above.

Hygiene 

  • All instructors, skaters, spectators, and staff must use hand sanitizer upon entering the facility. Sanitizing stations are marked throughout the facility.

  • Skaters cannot share equipment and all water bottles should be clearly marked.

  • We ask that all personal equipment including face masks to be cleaned and sanitized before returning

    to the facility.

High School Hockey

  • Practice:
    Up to 3 approved High School District Coaches on-ice.
    If injured, player may watch from player bench only, with a helmet on. 
    No team managers or spectators allowed.

  • Games:
    Up to 3 approved High School District Coaches on bench.
    1 school appointed Site Manager for each team and 1 Trainer.
    1 timekeeper and 1 score keeper. (Home Team Only, No Visitor team managers allowed)
    1 video operator per team. No live stream video allowed as we have LiveBarn available.
    Only game dressed, rostered players may enter facility.
    If injured, player may watch from player bench only, with a helmet on.
    Home team is responsible for getting Away team roster to the arena office at least 48 hours prior to the game.

Social Distancing  

  • All players, coaches and staff must follow all signage within the facility, with attention to the flow pattern throughout the facility.  

  • Please follow all social distancing guidelines.  

Cleaning/Disinfecting 

  • Prior to opening, all areas & surfaces within the arena and lobby will be disinfected. 

  • Sanitization includes the use of our power disinfectant sprayer to sanitize all public spaces.

  • Staff will be sanitizing daily.
