Youth Hockey at Clary Anderson Arena
This season at Clary Anderson Arena, we are running a number of Youth Hockey programs for different age groups. For starters, we are running a 14 & under hockey program that is for players at the middle school level to practice their skills and to promote healthy and friendly competition. We are also establishing a Junior Varsity league to promote high school hockey. Along with our Learn to Skate programs and Hockey Clinics, our youth hockey leagues provide plenty of supplemental activities for young players that give them more practice and time on the ice.

Schedule:
- 15 games/15 practices (includes playoffs)
- Tuesday & Saturday practices, Sunday games
Roster Guidelines:
- Each team in the league needs a minimum of 10 players with a maximum of 20 players on the roster.
- Only players on the roster can play for that team.
- Players cannot under any circumstances play on 2 different teams (double rostering).
- In the case of a team only having one goaltender and he/she becomes injured or otherwise unable to play, that team may use an emergency goaltender with approval of the hockey director/general manager.
- All teams need matching color jerseys and visable numbers.
- Players may play within their own level. No player may play down a level.
- Only game players will be allowed on the game scoresheet. Teams playing players not on the scoresheet will receive a minor penalty.
- Playing a non-rostered player will result in a 1-0 forfeit.
Length of Games:
- 3 periods at 15 minutes each.

Scoreboard:
- Rink supplies scorekeeper and referees.
|
Penalty Times:
- Minor / Major: 2:00 / 5:00
- Misconduct: 10:00
|
Fighting/Unsportsmanlike Conduct:
- First Incident: 2-game suspension
- Second Incident: League expulsion
